We are now accepting applications for an Occupational Therapist based out of our Central Office location in Okotoks. This is a .50 FTE (18.75 hours per week) temporary position, which begins mid-May and continues for approximately 1 year.
As part of the division team and reporting to the Student Services Coordinator who is responsible for PUF, our Occupational Therapist will assist students to develop or master everyday skills in order to live independent, productive, satisfying lives. The therapist will provide assessment and report writing which includes program recommendations. Working primarily with Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students receiving PUF programming, the therapist will provide direct and consultative service and work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
The successful candidate will hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and be eligible for membership in ACOT and/or CAOT. Preference will be given to an individual with experience in a school setting. Travel throughout the division is required.
A current criminal record check and a child welfare check will be required.
