Sensory Profile Easy Scoring

I created an excel document to easily calculate the scores for Factors, Sections and Quadrants from the Sensory Profile Caregiver Questionnaire. I thought I would share it on here for anyone who doesn't want to go through the hassle of doing it themselves. Just input the number for the 125 questions in column A with 1 for Always, 2 for Frequently, 3 for Occasionally, 4 for Seldom, and 5 for Never. The spreadsheet will do the rest! The link is on google docs or you can comment on here if you have trouble downloading it and I can email it to you.

  1. How do you put in the scores?

  2. It does not let me input the scores. Also, which Sensory Profile is this for? I use the School Companion and the Caregiver Questionnaire.

  3. It is for the Caregiver Questionnaire. You put the answers in column A (i.e. A1 is the answer to question 1, etc).

  4. You may have to download it off google docs to input scores. Let me know if you have difficulty and I can always email you a copy.

  5. Thank you so much for this! I had thought of doing something similar but yours is ready to go. Think I'll trot off and make one for the adolescent/adult profile I use with older children!

  6. This is a god send. It's helping me with my sensory kids, along with another little tool that I came across 11 years ago.

  12. Hi everyone, I want to score this up but I am unsure how to translate the always, frequently etc to scores. Is Always 5 and Never 0, throughout the questionnaire? Any guidance greatly appreciated. Thanks

    1. It is exactly the same as how you would normally score it. I don't have the assessment right in front of me but just use the exact same scoring as usual.
