Wanted: Pediatric Physical Therapist

Please spread the word to your PT colleagues! The Réseau provincial d’adaptation scolaire, the regional educational consultation service for the 4 French school districts of Alberta, is looking for a French speaking physical therapist to provide school-based consultation during the 2013-2014 school year. Five or more individual contracts are expected (for a total of 50 or more private practice hours). Travel expenses will also be reimbursed based on the established policy for contractual consultants.

Part time Contract Physical Therapist Needed

Sturgeon School Division is currently seeking a part-time private practice  Physical therapist (one day a week on average) to provide consultation services for students with physical disabilities in all Division schools. The need for consultation may be higher earlier in the school year, and less so later in the year as needs are addressed.

The private practice Physical Therapist we are searching for will have a background in pediatrics. A Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy and current registration in ACPT is required. Therapists must have own transportation as travel is required to division schools and Central office. Mileage will be paid from the Division border to the schools within the Division
The Sturgeon School Division’s Central Office is in Morinville, which is approximately 15 minutes drive north of Edmonton. This school division covers a small geographical region immediately north of the Edmonton/ St. Albert  area.

Private Contract Posting for Physiotherapist

Hi all,
 

I am working with a family in Calgary who has a 4 y.o. son with a suspected connective tissue disorder (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome). They are looking for a physiotherapist with knowledge and experience working with children with connective tissue disorders, who can provide them with strengthening and joint protection activities suitable for their son. If anyone knows of a physio with experience in this area in Calgary please let me know.
