April 20th SAOT meetup re: Scopes of Practice, OT Deployments, and community concerns

I hope you are all doing well and coping with CoVid19.

In case you haven’t already heard, SAOT has teamed up with ACOT (Marianne Baird) and AHS (Carmen Lazorek) to provide “Monday Meet-Ups: CoVid19”. These meet-ups are a series of online meetings aiming to connect with Alberta OT’s, support one and other with questions and concerns that may be raised, and to gather more information about how CoVid19 is impacting OT’s.

The next scheduled meeting is April 20^th, where the group will aim to discuss Scopes of Practice, OT Deployments, and listening to community concerns.

 Last week we had a great turnout with many wonderful questions and some great discussion.

If there are questions or concerns that have been raised regarding CoVid19 and how it affects OT practice, please do connect and I will do what I can to address them.

The next SAOT board meeting will be schedule for April 21^st.
