Occupational Therapy Recovery Conference

The Edmonton Zone Occupational Therapy Practice Council is pleased to present the Occupational Therapy Recovery Conference 2014: Enhancing Concurrent Care on October 23 & 24, 2014 at the Robbins Learning Centre, Royal Alexandra Hospital, Edmonton. We are excited to bring Niki Kiepek, PhD, MSc(OT) from Dalhousie University School of Occupational Therapy to Edmonton for this two-day conference.

The 2-day event will include the following:

Thursday October 23rd: Occupation-focused approaches to effectively address substance use and addictions: Enhancing our knowledge, skills, and involvement.Niki Kiepek, PhD, MScOT

Friday October 24th: Building your concurrent care toolkit.

Keynote: Substance use in the context of daily occupations: Transforming practice, transforming lives. Niki Kiepek, PhD, MScOT

Followed by focused workshops facilitated by OTs and Mental Health Professionals.
