HISTORY and TRACK RECORD

RMT was developed over 25 years ago in Sweden by psychiatrist Harald Blomberg, MD who initially learned about movement to help with his own motor coordination difficulties resulting from childhood polio. Dr. Blomberg was astounded to find that the rhythmic movements helped his psychiatric patients recover from psychosis and schizophrenia without drugs. Dr. Blomberg and Moira Dempsey's book, Movements That Heal, is available from Amazon.com
