Part-time OT position with Elk Island Public Schools

Elk Island Public Schools, based in Sherwood Park, has posted for a 0.4 FTE Occupational Therapist (with the possibility of increasing to a 0.5 or 0.6 FTE prior to the start date).  This is a two year term certain position beginning Wednesday August 27, 2014.  As the department is recently established (August 2012) all initial Occupational Therapist positions have been hired on a term basis rather than permanent, as is policy within the district; at the end of the term, positions will be reviewed with the likely possibility of extension.  Being a new department we have had an exciting opportunity to develop best practice policies, integrate technology, and offer our OT supports to an excited and appreciative audience.  We look forward to welcoming another OT to our team!
