was wondering if any of you know of a good pediatrician that I can
recommend to a family who has a child with Down Syndrome in Edmonton?
Also does anyone have a list of Pediatric Dentists that would be good with working with kids with special needs?

The Stollery Childrens Hospital keeps a list of pediatricians accepting new patients through Peds Outpatients. These physicians tend to be very good and if your child is a frequent flyer in hospital, it's nice to have a familiar face during hospital stays. I haven't worked at the Stollery for a few years, but I believe that they also had a list of dentists. Just call the switchboard and ask to be transferred to Peds Outpatients. I believe the receptionist has access to the lists. Alternatively, you could ask to be transferred to a nurse on staff to answer your questions.
